Ensec Solutions was interviewed by Ming Pao to share expert comments with the readers on a recent near-HK$1 million burglary case that victimized a famous dried seafood retailer, stressing it is critical to keep in-store security systems functional, effective and up-to-date at all times. What’s more, the company looked at some of the best practices of retail surveillance configuration.

It was reported the burglars took advantage of loopholes in the retailer’s security system. According to Ensec Solutions, a better configuration can be installing two or more sensors with some distance apart along with combined detection setting so as to prevent false alarms. And importantly, retailers must ensure their security system standards comply with insurance terms in order to have sufficient protection.
