Ensec has been awarded the “Happy Company” label for the second consecutive year for its commitment to create a happy workplace culture. The label presentation ceremony was held on 7 April 2016, with Mr. Matthew Cheung, Secretary for Labour and Welfare as the guest-of-honour.
The “Happy Company” label is an accolade of the “Happiness-at-Work Promotional Scheme” jointly organized by the Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and the Hong Kong Productivity Council. The recipients include local and international companies with thousands of staff to promising small and medium enterprises.
Ensec was thus interviewed by Happy Post, the Promoting Happiness Index Foundation newsletter, regarding its employee-friendly policies. Citing its people, Ensec has in place effective measures that foster happiness at work, for example, flexible lunch time to allow staff to manage their personal needs and run errands; organizing sports activities such as bubble soccer and archery; staff discounts on computer products; and early leave on festive days.
Moreover, company-wide communication is emphasized, which not only contributes to harmonious colleague relationships but also enhances employee engagement. Ensec’s supportive environment is also liked by its people, who are motivated to discover better ways of doing things.
Being recognized as a “Happy Company” means Ensec is a people-oriented employer where staff are valued, involved and rewarded.
